Rendering Tasks   Companionship   Fall Prevention
Errands can be a never ending list for some aging adults that can be very overwhelming. Our caregivers can pick up prescriptions, go grocery shopping, go to the post office, drop off/pickup dry cleaning and much more.
Your loved one can be assigned a caregiver that will meet with them as a companion to provide supportive conversation, help plan social outings, encourage a positive mind set and enjoy hobbies & games that will keep them active.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, falls occur for one in every three adults age 65 and older causing broken bones and other moderate to severe injuries. This is why we assist with transfer assistance between beds, wheelchairs and walking around the house.

Personal Care Training Division bought to you by Quality Hands & Hearts Home Care

With Quality Hands & Hearts Training Division we offer Personal Care Aide training for an individual to work in the home care industry. Training to become a Personal Care Aide is a great way for an individual to be introduced into the medical field. Our course consists of 40-hours including hands on training and is taught by our Registered Nurse that will walk an individual step-by-step to acquire the knowledge needed to obtain a certification. Our courses are held throughout the year and are rendered within a two week schedule.

A Personal Care Aide cares for individuals in the home. Their work enables the elderly, disabled, and ill patients to live in their own homes rather than in a healthcare facility. With their help, individuals can spend less time in the hospital, which not only reduces health care expenses, but also allows an individual to enjoy the comforts of their own home.

The primary role of the PCA is to perform assistive duties, such as range-of-motion exercises, personal hygiene, grooming, transfers, and proper positioning of the individual. Their work sometimes includes but not limited to light housekeeping chores, running errands such as shopping and cooking.

Key Benefits include:
One of the fastest growing professions in the industry
Upon completion and receiving certification you will be introduced into the medical field for job security
CPR Certification included
Individuals will be equipped to work in the healthcare industry while continuing education as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistant or other healthcare professions.
Ceremony at the end of the course to recognize each graduate
